Summer is heating up and riding season is kicking in. One of my favorite local events which is gotten huge over the past couple years is Born-Free at Irvine Lake June 28-29th. This will be the 6th year and the boys have decided to make it a two-day event for the first time. Each year the event has grown and with the popularity of old school scoots continuing I don’t see it going anywhere soon. They have invited some stellar talent from all over to showcase their custom choppers and bobbers. You will have a chance to win a bike both days by already purchasing a ticket from Lowbrow Customs or buy one at the event for $25. Last year the kid who won went home with a killer UL Flathead and was super stoked.
There will be a ton of pre-events going on starting with the Born-Free 6 pre-party at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach on Thursday the 26th brought to you by Dixie and Dice Magazine. (Flyer info is below) Friday the Show Class Magazine party at Cooks Corner kicks off at 3 pm and is always a good time to see who will get to showcase their custom ride at BF6. Also after Saturday head back over to Cooks Corner for the Biltwell Gnarbeque for some free pulled pork info flyer below.
Tickets can be bought online or at the day of the event. This year they have incorporated a “Fast Pass” pre-order only which allows you to park inside the event on the grass. Got mine already and looking forward to seeing you all there. If you see any of us wearing V-Twin Gear come say hi and introduce your self. That’s what it’s all about and some of my best memories besides the bikes is meeting great people from all over who share the same interest. The love of Two-wheels.
